Are 1" wheel adapter/spacers going to be ok on the front of my Ford Explorer?
I just put new wheels on my 1998 Ford explorer sport, they are 1 inch wider then the stock wheel I took off (16x8 replaces the stock 16x7) but the back spacing is almost an inch greater which means they are closer inwards, it looks a little weird, I was wondering if the aluminum 6061 grade 1" wheel adapters/spacers will pull them out to where my stock wheels were without to much stress on the bearings, any advise is thankfull.
I always steer away from the spacers, especially on the front!
We replaced stock wheels on my wife's 1998 Explorer with an aftermarket wheel from Cragar. Had same back space and was 16X8 front and rear.

Can someone care to explain why there's such a big difference in price? I really dont know much about spacers. thanks 
Because the first set is UNIVERSAL...the 2nd set was drilled specifically for your car (or it's lug pattern). Still...spacers destroy your wheel bearings...
