1999 Mercury Sable - Starter Replacement?
As stated above, I have a 1999 Mercury Sable that needs a new starter. Any ideas on how much that will be to get replaced (parts + labor)?

I had a '99 Ford Taurus (Ford's version of the Sable) starter replaced a few years.
It was a re-manufactured starter - with labor was about $225.00
If done at a Ford or Mercury dealer - it will be more.

How much does it cost for a starter replacement?
Hello everyone. I have a 1999 Corolla, which I cannot start it this morning. I guess it's the starter problem. I called a local automobile repair store, and they told me they'll charge 290 totally, which includes 140 labor fee and 150 part fee. Is this price reasonable?
i just answered a similar question for someone else / there are 3 items in a starting system. the ignition switch/ battery and the starter take the battery out and take it tio auto zone or such parts house and have them check the battery.
if the ignition switch lights up all the idiot lights with a fully charged battery then the only thing left to replace it the starter.
