what to do and or how to start the atv engine?
i have recently gotten an atv engine with the transmission and stuff thats just missing the carbureator and electrical but what i cant figure out is there are 4 colored wires cominng from where the transsmission meets the cylinder on the side but the wires have been cut so i dont know where they go to or how to start the engine .and the engine has no make or model thus becasue there is no pull rope and it has a spark plug in it so it cant be a cdi ignition system can it? idk if someone can help me with this it would be great.
The transmission doesn't meet the cylinder, it meets the crankcase. The type of starter has nothing to do with the type of ignition system, so it could very well be a CDI ignition system. What do you mean by "it's only missing the carburettor and electrical"? Do you mean it's missing the ignition system as well? Does the spark plug have a high-tension lead on it? If so, what's at the other end? That will tell you what kind of ignition system it has, assuming it hasn't gone AWOL. With no make or model we can't be much help. As far as your four wires are concerned, search the link below. You might strike it lucky.

i can't cross the border to see my son (convicted grave robber )
and i don't know what to do?
