DIY Home Subwoofer, How do I wire an led to show the sub is on?
I have a bash 300w plate amplifier and am awaiting on my polk psw1000 subwoofer (just the woofer) and am going to build my self a little project. Anyways, I am coming up with a logo and everything and at the top of the logo i'm creating I want to put a blue led (just a single little light) to show that the subwoofer is on. Now i just got my amplifier today and realized that there is a light on the back of the amp. Is it possible to just tap into the wiring for that light and feed another light to the front of the woofer where I want it? If not what are some suggestions?
It may be possible to do that but you will also be causing an extra load to appear on the light circuit, this could lead to both lights burning out before there time is due another idea may be to take out the light and move it to the front of the box....

To many youngsters, turning 16 is a huge accomplishment. The age marks one of the first milestones in a young adult's life.
