Fender Stratocaster - Where do these springs go?
I recently sanded my guitar down to the base wood because I got bored of the plain black. Stupidly, whilst taking it apart, I didn't make a note of where the parts go. I can work out where most of the parts go. I'm currently puzzled by six small springs. I haven't got a clue where they go, apart from the obvious conclusion that it's something to do with the six strings. If somebody could tell me exactly where these six springs go I'd be very grateful.
Cheers.
They go on the bridge saddles,
One for each string
Go to a music store and look at the strat style bridges, it's easier to show than explain

Fender Jag Stang - On a Plain
What Are The Fireplace Tools And Accompaniments Required For Your Fireplace?
A fireplace could not feature the classic spark of brightness without the complete set of fireplace tools. Several of the typical tools vital for fireplaces are the the tongs, the poker and the dustpan and the broom. The tongs are clamp-like utensils useful for grasping the logs into the fire. Whereas the poker is used for stoking the fire. Because you cannot lay a hand on the embers and the blazing coals the poker serves as a lengthy extended tool used to stir up the embers so the light will go stronger and will keep the flare alight. And finally, the dustpan and the broom are for cleaning up the ash remains.
Despite the fact that newly-built houses these days have no need for a hearth, there is still a distinct type of heat that a hearth could give that a central heating cannot. On the historic age, our ancestors have open fire inside their houses that served as the early hearth. It mainly functioned as the oven, whereas the wife cooks and roasts the family's supper as well as a source of warmth all through the winter nights. Even nowadays in some distant areas in Africa, people living in undersized cottages still have an open pit within their houses wherein they could prepare their food. On the other hand, because of a lack of proper ventilation and the absence of a smokestack, scientist blame the early mortality rate of these people because of the smoke from these fireplace that could be hazardous after long exposure through time.
Fireplace on the ancient times served no function during the summer season. Except for cooking, the fireplace screens instead are used to hide the blackened cavity and the grate left from the charred coals from the last winter. All in all, the hearth at the olden times could not serve as ornamental pieces yet. On the other hand, come the 19th century when central heating was popularized and the hearth has only turn into a choice of opulence and luxury for costly houses. There are even artificial electrical hearths that never run out of wood and never have need of constant stoking.
Also, some new owners of old houses choose to hold on to its hearth by the living area. By the late 19th century, manufacturers and architects have created hearths to be as practical and as fetching as possible. Other than the typical fireplace tools, there are certain fireplace accessories that adds beauty and style to a once plain hearth.
Among one of the most coveted fireplace accessories are the fireplace screen, the log holder, log racks, wood grates, fenders, the andiron and the bellow. The fireplace screen protects the sparks from getting through the fireplace area, it also keeps any person especially young kids away from the fire. The log holder, log racks and the wood grates are used to maintain the firewood in place. The fender is used to enclose the ashes and the cinders into the fireplace area while the andiron is a horizontal iron bar from which the wood are laid onto the scorching fire.
You can choose between fireplace tools made of iron, bronze or metal. You can also choose the motif and the metal works. Enjoy your fireplace!
