What can I use for traction for my sons battery powered John Deere Gator?
Plastic tires do not have traction. Is there something that I can install myself besides having to buy over the internet?
buy some sandpaper for a beltsander and glue it on the tires,its cheap and easly repaired when needed,or a small wood screws with a nut head on them will work too.it will be studded then,and it works great on ice in the winter.

2011 John Deere Gator 825i XUV 4x4
I have a john deere gator th 6x4 diesel and It is not charging. Does anyone have a diagram.?
I have searched all over the internet for a wiring diagram for the th 6x4 gator and I can not find one anywhere.. is there a common problem witht the charging system? The wiring is a mess n this thing and any help would be awesome.

Have you tried to contact a John Deere Dealership. Although this particular vehicle is probably a simple system and a generic automotive schematic might work. Not sure why you need it because it really is a simple system. You should have one wire going to from the battery to the alternator directly and a ground of some sort. You should also have a wire going to the ignition which should send power to the alternator when the key ignition is in the "on" position. Before suspecting a problem with your alternator make sure your battery is fully charged. When running you should be able to read about 1 to 2 volts over what the rating of the battery is. Some vehicles you have to excite the alternator before you see it charging. This basically means you have to rev up before you take your reading although this applies to older vehicles and not necessarily to your application. I hope this helps.
