how do you make a very rusty chain function the way a new chain does?

As cheap as some chains are get a new one, if you insist on using the old one, put it in some penetrating oil and let it soak. Wipe clean and repeat a few time to get as much rust and crud off as you can. Think of the rust as a very fine sand paper, this grit will wear the chain gears etc. out fairly fast so be forewarned. After it is as clean as you can get it use a good oil for lubrication, penetrating oils do not provide adequate lubrication.
Under both arms theres a spot near the shoulder that hurts when i press it down.
It also hurts when i stretch my arms in certain directions, should i be worried?

like i said, it wont start. i cleaned all connections, replaced the battery with a new fully charged battery, checked out and cleaned all kill switches and i still don't have a clue. i put the key in turn it to start, pul lthe clutch, and press the button and nothing happens. the headlights and indicator lights all work, im beyond confused.

First Night Time Road Kill ? without knowing it ?
Last night I did my fist ever lang long night time drive it was pissing it down and I was doing 50-60 mph most of the time on country roads
I did see any thing in the headlights of the big 4 wheel drive or feel anything go under the wheels but I wonder what are the chances that I may have flatend something without knowing it ? and would it matter if I did ?

How much should I drink while riding a Century Bike Ride?
I have ridden in several century rides, but I have never paid much attention to how much I drink. I'm thinking my 28 ounce water bottle will get me between the 25 mile rest stops where I will tank up. The only thing is that the weather is expected to be warm in the afternoon (80 deg. F or more). Should I carry more water? I'm trying to be careful about weight because half the ride is up hill.
Water requirements depend on you and your sweat rate. Everyone's different. You need to replace what you sweat out, as performance can suffer with even a small amount of dehydration.
Weigh yourself, ride hard for an hour, weigh yourself again. The difference is sweat. 16oz water = 1 pound.
Failing that, drink enough that you have to pee every hour or so.
FWIW, my sweat rate has been measured at over 2 liters per hour at race pace and 85°F

I have a problem with flys, spiders and ants right now do to the area I live and I am getting ready to set off some bug foggers. I am not quite sure what to do afterward though. I know to wash all the dishes, but do I have to wash ALL of my clothing along with my sons? What about my sons toys? I also have a couple of plants my in-laws gave me and not sure whether or not I have to take them out doors. If anyone has used this product and have any advise I would love it. Thank you.
i've used this a good amount of times to know that you must have your dishes, clothing and even your sons toys stored away or if you decide to leave your clothes out i think they may be fine, but i would wash them regardless. As for me I put all my belonging in trash bags. Then either in the trunck of my car or just somewhere out of the house. Make sure all the windows are closed and doors are open. i hope this helped. anymore questions just ask! =)
