How much do you think is a fair price for these shifters/brake levers?
A guy emailed me saying he wanted to buy my shifters/brake levers off me. They came off my old mountain bike and they are shifters and brake levers all in one assembly. They're shimano, not sure what model, but nothing high end. But they're still decent, they got metal levers, 3 speeds on the left, 7 speeds on the right and still working like new, only a few scratches. How much do you think is a fair price?
They are not worth much maybe $10-15. You can buy brand new 7 speed shifters for around $25-30.

problems with my mountain bike need help!?
ok i bought it about a month or two ago and i rode it for 1 week and then left in garage (its a christmas present but i needed to use a bit because its going for a free service)
it is a 2011 cube analog disc
first of all the brake levers on the handlebars rattle as i ride, because they are slightly loose, how can i tighten them?
the front brake catches slightly as i ride it and when moving very slowly or starting off it actually squeaks, what causes this and how can i fix it?
the rear brake at first seemed allright but now after being in the garage for a few weeks i went and rode it again just to check on it and the rear brake..i cant really describe it as a squeak its more of a grinding noise and i can make it really loud (the harder i pull) is this a serious fault or just because its been sitting in a cold garage for a few weeks unused?
they are hydraulic brakes by the way.
The brake levers should be adjusted during the service, and the problems with the front brake should also be checked then.
The rear brake noise could be a small piece of grit between the pad and the disc, and if it isn't removed, it will damage the disc.
If you've already had the free service, then you should take the cycle back since the service doesn't seem to have been carried out correctly, but these problems should be covered by the guarantee anyway, so it should go beck to the shop.
