No A/C out of panel vents at all. '89 Chrysler LeBaron w/ATC system.?
I checked vacuum as in Fact Serv Manual. It is ok, except vac doesn't hold at black port at vac conn as FSM says it should.Panel vents don't work at all, whether at idle or acceleration. Always blows on floor when set to PANEL. DEF and FLOOR settings work fine. I changed out ATC unit and Power Module. ATC diagnosis shows no faults. FSM mentions check valve, but A) I can't find it, and B) I think it isn't the culprit because vents NEVER work- not even at idle (high vacuum). Check valve at Master Cyl is ok and does hold vacuum where it goes into car thru firewall. Temperature settings work as expected. Coolant mixing valve works fine (vac actuated).

You've probably have a servo leaking vacuum. Check each one at the servo. If one leaks, none of the rest will function right. Also the vacuum hoses may have been switched around.

Why did a judge seal the CVR of United flight 93?
The CVR is the cockpit voice recording that is part of audio streams that are recorded in an airplanes "Black box"
Transmitions from the plane to ATC where released. but not the audio inside the cockpit, this would be proof that an actual struggle occured and the passengers took over the plane.
What is there to hide?
No disrespect to the victims intended, but I would like to know the truth of whether UA93 was downed by a military jet or not. I always believed that it was, as that was the initial report I heard. It was a terrifying day with lots happening, but I distinctly remember hearing on the news that a plane had been shot down in Pennsylvania. A few hours later, the story was retracted, despite eyewitness reports of a military jet flying alongside 93 and the plane having been hit (smoking) before impact, and the 6 mile debris trail.
Maybe passengers fought back. Maybe they made it as far as the cockpit. Maybe the plane was hijacked, or maybe it just was still in the air and too perilously close to the Capital that officials got spooked and decided it wasn't worth taking chances.
What we have to bear in mind is that the country was under attack that day, and it is SOP to shoot down planes which do not respond to orders to land in these circumstances. And that the alternative might have been a plane not just hitting the White House, but also the heavily-populated DC area. The loss of the lives of the passengers on UA93 is indeed regrettable, but many more lives might have been lost had it not gone down where and when it did.
Even though I feel the government cannot be held liable for a shoot-down, not everybody is as pragmatic about this emotionally-charged issue.
