What is the best all around 450cc to 500cc 4x4 ATV?
I'd have to agree. Honda makes a great machine when it comes to durability and reliability. I'd recommend the honda foreman 4x4 es. New for 07 is powersteering. which makes it a lot easier on you when it comes to riding on rough terrain. I myself have owned a polaris and a honda, the polaris i'd have to say is better overall when it comes to clearance and features BUT sucks when it came to reliability, more or less in the shop or my garage being fixed more than anything. Honda kind of slacks with the independent suspension and therefor lacks the clearance but if you don't plan on mudding a whole lot then honda is the way to go. if u beef up the honda it'll do just fine just needs bigger tires/wheels even maybe a lift for that extra clearance. You also have es which is hondas electric shift program. Works pretty well also. ALWAYS ALWAYS keep in mind what you're going to really use your atv for. let that set what you're looking for. If you're the type to just ride for fun/recreation i'd have to say honda but if ur lookin to be mudding 24/7 well maybe polaris would be the way to go, it's all up to you. best advice......ask ppl you know who own one. sometimes ppl over talk their atv. go to a shop and maybe test one out yourself.
