I have a Polaris 350 Liquid Cooled 1993 4x4 ATV and i need to know where to change the timing?
plz help me i need to know cuz its out of time and it worked sometimes but somtimes it wasnt firing at the right time so we couldnt drive it.
now it wont even start and the carb and gas and spark is all good.
The stator plate is located inside the flywheel. The CDI box is on the outside. If no one was ever inside the flywheel the stater (movable plate to change the timing) is most likely not the problem. You probably have already discovered that each of the spark plugs fire every 180 degrees. Just before TDC of the piston and at the bottom of the stroke. The flywheel should have several timing lines with a pointer on the shroud or block. The advance curve is electronically locked inside the CDI box. I have forgotten what RPM you use to set the total degrees of advance.
