Who makes the best 4x4 quad.?
I'm looking to buy a new quad runner and am interested in opinions.
I live in the country and plan on using it in all terrains plus I plan on using it in the snow. I live in Michigan and want to use it year round.
Last year I had a Yamaha 700 Grizzly, with power steering. It was a nice quad, but I didn't like how tall it is, I live in the mountains and it is steep country and it felt like I was going to tip over all of the time. I eventually sold it to a friend and I got myself a Suzuki 450 King Quad. I like it a lot more, it is almost a foot shorter and it just feels more stable to me. Another thing about the Grizzly, the digital speedometer goes from 0 to 4 mph, they think they are too good for 1, 2, 3 mph or what? A friend of mine got a Grizzly 450 and he complained that it would not go in the snow at all, the 700 does not have that problem and my Suzuki 450 made it great through four feet of snow this year, with stock tires. So my recommendation is, it depends on what you want the quad for, what the terrain is like where you will be ridding, so I recommend both the Yamaha 700 Grizzly and the Suzuki 450 King Quad, they are both good quality machines and go like a jet plane.
