What would fitting a new CDI unit with no rev limiter do for my Moped?
i have a 50 cc moped, new tt exhaust system, restrictors removed, carb up jetted, new rollers, what would adding a new cdi unit with no rev limiter do for performance?
It would enable the bike to go past the red line safety limit for the motor....which is there for a reason. Rev the motor past that limit, and you risk blowing the motor, trashing the valves, and ruining your bike.
Seriously....its a 50cc motor. How much are you REALLY thinking you can get out of it?
Performance wise...it does absolutely NOTHING for the bike.

2009 Sachs MadAss with Performance Parts
1996 Kawasaki 1100 XTI and a 1998 Kawasaki XTI jetski. The 1996 has 70 hours less on the motor. Choose which 1?
Both look pretty much the same outside. The guy with the 1996 babied his Kawi and its got a 2007 engine with 36 hours on it. New jet drive, trailer, performance CDI box, seat recovered.
I dont know much about the 1998. It look ok. Waxed and flushed every time. But has like 100 hour on it.
Is there any difference between these 2 hulls. Should I go for the 1998 or is the 96 a better choice. The 98 also doesnt have a manual trim system working. Its 100 dollars less than the 96.
