Law issue about purchasing a used car?
I have a problem about the used car that I just bought. I bought the car from a private seller. When I checked the car, there was no major problem or damage. The seller said the bumper was painted because of a minor accident. However, after I bought the car, I found that the fender was being changed after being checked by the dealer, but not just the bumper being painted. The seller did not mention about that. So I am wondering whether there is a law that can protect buyers. Does buyers has the right to return the car if the car was not at the condition of what the seller said?
Unfortunately, there is no law covering a private party used car purchase. If the only thing replaces was the fender and the bumper replaced, that isn't a very bad accident. But if there was suspension or frame damage, then that becomes a major accident.
You need to have the car checked for these things. Find out the extent of the damage and how it monetarily affects the car's value. Because your only recourse will be Small Claims Court. You can sue the other party for the loss ... the difference between what you paid for it and it's true market value in it's condition.

When i buy a guitar should it have a pick guard?
I have a Fender guitar and it has a pick guard. I know that pick guards help protect the guitar from scratches. I can see a lot of scratches on my pick guard. I was looking at guitars on the internet and all the ones i liked didn't have pick guards, but some were very expensive. I haven't been playing guitar for that long. But if i buy a new guitar, should it have a pick guard? would the guitar get scratched if it didn't have one?
if a guitar has a pick guard then it means that the strings are really close to the body, if a guitar does not have 1, then it means that the strings are probably a safe enough distance from the body to not put the body in danger of getting scratched up by your pick.
