How do I change the amount of memory dedicated to the RECOVERY Drive of Windows Vista?
When you go to "computer" it shows an extra drive, drive "D", the Recovery drive, using 10 GB of space. It only uses 5, and I would like to use 3 or 4 GB of this "backup" drive to put towards my "C" Drive. Help!
That is a partition your manufacturer put on the hard drive it has nothing to do with Vista. it holds an image of your original configuration so you can restore it back to the way it was when it was shipped.
you would need partitioning software to take space from it. but doing that can mess up the partition and you would have no way to ever recover if needed.
