Would you join your competition if somebody asked you?
i know a lot of women (theres tons in this section) don't watch or keep up with sports, and even if you do it doesnt matter.
Lebron james left his hometeam to join his competition (another great player) and team up with another player (so thats 3 if your counting).
So i ask you would you team up with your competition in order to achieve a common goal? For instance you have your own job and your friend has his own job. You guys are competing against each other. Would you team up with them, or absolutely not?
If it benefits me, why not?

Are you supposed to hold the reins with your left or right hand in western pleasure?
Hey Everyone!
I was always taught to hold the reins in my left hand for western pleasure. I just recently went to a competition and one of the girls there placed in the top three even though she was holding the reins in her right hand. My trainer said that it's illegal to hold the reins in your right hand. Is this correct?
I have nothing against this girl-she's a good rider and she has an amazing horse-I'm just curious. Thanks everyone!
Ok I show an AQHA western pleasure mare in big quarter horse shows including congress. So here's the answer:
Either hand is correct. Though the left hand is much much more preferred. It is not illegal to ride with the right hand. The left hand is traditional because in history cowboys would ride with the reins in their left hand so that their right hand was free for roping and shooting a gun.
But here is the catch. In the show ring... If two riders were absolutely perfect, both had amazing horses, kept a good cadance, had good transitions, etc., basically both were perfect. One rider is riding with the left hand and the other is riding with the right hand. So, which rider will win? The riders that is holding the reins in the left hand would actually win. Though it doesn't really matter, judges like to see a rider more traditional. Though, it still doesn't really matter, there still is a possible chance that it could cost you the blue if you were ever in a similar situation.
So, the answer, no it is not illegal to ride with the reins in your right hand. It is your preference. Though, at big shows, when it really matters, a judge likes it when you ride with your left hand.
