whats wrong and how much, nubira 1.6se 2001 - clutch wont engage?
i have an hyraulic clutch, the bar off the piston is out as far as it can go and there is still play on the clutch arm/lever (whatever its called). I can get it into gear if i lever the arm way past were i think its normal range is, but the bite is very low and the arm hits the bell housing. Would like to know were i stand with the car (if its worth it, can i D.I.Y it ect.) thanks for the help
High pedal bite indicates worn out clutch but you say yours is low,which indicates low hydraulic pressure.If the arm is already on the housing this says pressure plate fault But you say if you lever the arm it goes into gear which although confusing it still sounds low hydraulic.Have you bled the system Master cyl sometimes work both ways so they push fluid and then draw it back As for diy clutch a good manual and brute strenght,in that order

crazy dirt bike head on quad crash
NEED A MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC HELP KAWASAKI KX80 DIRT BIKE please help me?
i have a 1997 kawasaki kx80 dirt bike. i bought the bike off someone and they blew it up. i rebuilt the top end and put a new pusher clutch in. theres something wrong with the clutch. when i start it up and shift in to gear it feels like its in neutral. then when i pull the clutch lever the clutch engages and the bike goes but the bike keeps reving high and goes real slow. i adjusted the cable and it pulls good and the clutch arm is in good working order. when i pull the clutch it pulls the acuater arm like it should so its not the cable. i also took the clutch apart and put it back together the way it should (repair book) i have no clue whats wrong some one please help me
Where the cable attaches to the motor(that little arm). Did you move it at all? My brother in law was messing with his sons 85 and took it off and when he put it back on he the cable was still hooked to it and he put it on to where it wouldn't let out far enough to engage. It would go into gear and stuff but when you release the clutch it would just sit there. It took me and him a an hour or 2 to figure it out.
