Traveling overseas with camo?
I was planning on traveling to western Europe sometime next year, I'm trying to backpack on a budget; so to cut one cost I got a free backpack from my buddy in the Army who had a really nice/comfortable backpack with a lot of pockets, its waterproof, sturdy and seems that it will fit all my needs. My question tho, is it wise to travel overseas with the digital camouflage pattern on my bag or is that asking for trouble?

First thing you need to do is measure from the center of your horse's chest down to the center of his tail, as straight across as you can. Round up to the next even number. For example if you get a measurement of 81" you will round it up to 82". This is the size of the blanket.
600 denier is pretty weak nylon. The higher the denier of the nylon the more durable the outside of the blanket is. There is also a number in grams (340 grams, 200 grams) for the fill. The higher the number the heavier weight the blanket is. Anything that says "No fill" is just a waterproof sheet.
If you are NOT going to blanket your horse all winter and then when he starts losing weight toss a blanket on him you want to get a HEAVY blanket. If you are going to blanket your horse ALL winter than you need to start with a light weight blanket and graduate up to a heavy weight blanket. The difference is how much coat the horse grows.
I personally had this blanket for my last horse: LA-24264 , LA-24625 (depending on the size of your horse). Not the most durable blanket ever but if your horse is out by himself or with gentle pasture mates it should last a while (I had mine for three years and gave it to my horse's new owner)
