Why Won't My Atv Polaris Dominator 200cc work?
I have a 200cc ATV polaris Domintor, i had to biy a new batery and i did. So i charged up the new batery installed it and nothing happend, it just wont go, i installed everything properly but nothing is happening. I really need help.
as much as i agree polaris inst the best brand in the world, it could be the wiring from the battery to the starter, check to see the none of the wires are frayed or rubbing up against something. if not then i would check the electronics in the starter to see if thats working. good luck
oh and does it have a clutch? you could possibly try bump starting it, roll it down a fairly steep hill in 1st with the clutch in and when u get enough speed pop the clutch and give it a little gas.

Can i put a diesel engine in a 1996 Polaris 400 ATV?
See, the quad leaks coolant into the block, so it doesn't run with coolant in the system. So, i am looking at putting a diesel in to replace the current gas engine; is that possible and if so, what would be an engine that would fit in there, accounting for the fact that the current motor is 378 cc(i believe)?
You would need to make serious modifications to the entire bike to put anything other than the original Polaris engine into that machine. Also, the engine and transmission are one unit, so you'd need to find a small diesel engine complete with a transmission - not a common thing. That said, you can put any engine into anything if you want to badly enough. I think the project would cost more than replacing the entire machine with a new one, though...
