Can anyone please answer my questions about bike riding?
My husband and I live on a large area of property that is very hilly and mostly woods. There are lot of great ATV trails and I thought bike riding some of these trails would be a fun way to get more exercise. The only thing is I can only ride on the weekends since it's already dark when I get home from work. I don't want to be battling the cougars and bob cats at night while bike riding. lol However, I work out for 30-45 minutes 6 days a week and that's not including the time I spend doing cardio. When I do get a chance to ride I plan on doing it for about 1 hour on very hilly terrain.
My questions are:
Would the time I spend biking be enough to amount to anything or am I wasting my time?
How long does it usually take to notice results from this type of exercise?
What muscle(s) do you use the most when biking on hills?
Does biking work your INNER thighs? (My problem area =p)

1. Yes it's better doing it that way then not doing it at all.
2. Probably not too long since it works your body so well.
3. You work your butt, arms, and your upper and lower legs.
4. Yes it does work your inner things but you might want to do some other workouts that target that area. Biking does help but you'll need more than just that.
